Alam Muzaffarnagari

Alam Muzaffarnagari,[1] (1901–1969) born Muhammad Ishaaq, belonged to Muzaffarnagar, town of Uttar Pradesh. He was a renowned Qasida, Masnavi, Rubai, nazm and ghazal writer. He spent his entire life in Muzaffarnagar where he had studied Persian and Arabic and later on taught these languages at the local Islamiya Inter College. He was a disciple of Seemab Akbarabadi. Till date two collections of his poems ( mainly ghazals ) titled - 1) Salsabil and 2) Kausar o Tasniim, have been published.[2]
